Dr. Heidi Nashed-Guirguis is a board-certified family practice physician with a true passion for delivering the highest quality of healthcare to every single patient that she treats. While she enjoys all facets of family practice medicine, she has a special interest in helping those suffering with diabetes, obesity and women’s health issues. Dr. Nashed-Guirguis completed her undergraduate studies at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and biology. She then went on to attend medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she was awarded her M.D. degree in 2000. Dr. Nashed-Guirguis did her family medicine internship at St. Joseph Hospital in downtown Houston, then completed residency at Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, Illinois. She has over a decade of experience in practicing family medicine.
Dr. Nashed-Guirguis is a native Houstonian who grew up near Katy. When not practicing medicine, she enjoys volunteering, being involved with Sunday School and camps at her local church, reading, and spending time with her husband and children.
